Job Description:

We are looking for a savvy Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, and recruiting top talent within the media industry, specifically scriptwriters, thumbnail designers, video editors, voice-over artists, and motion graphic designers. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of the media industry, with a special emphasis on talent identification and acquisition.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive and innovative sourcing strategies to attract top industry talents across various roles and disciplines.

  2. Identify, attract, and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process according to the organization’s needs and criteria.

  3. Manage the entire recruiting process including, but not limited to, screening, interviewing, and conducting reference checks.

  4. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements to ensure the recruitment of relevant and adept professionals.

  5. Maintain a solid understanding of our company culture to ensure candidates are a good fit and can enhance the creative and innovative atmosphere of our workplace.

  6. Collaborate with team leaders and hiring managers to determine hiring needs and job specifications.

  7. Provide clear, consistent, and timely communication with all candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring process.

  8. Utilize data-driven techniques and analytics to track, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of our hiring process.


Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

  2. Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role within the media industry.

  3. In-depth understanding of creative roles within the media industry, including scriptwriting, graphic design, video editing, voice-over artistry, and motion graphics design.

  4. Proficiency in using professional social networks (such as LinkedIn), portfolio sites, job boards, and other relevant platforms for sourcing candidates.

  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a capacity to build strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.

  6. Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to review and evaluate applicants’ job fit within the organization.

  7. Proficiency in HR technologies and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  8. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
